SNAS, in connection with suspension of its status as a signatory to the EA MLA and IAF MLA in the field of accreditation of certification bodies certifying management systems, products and persons, took measures related to usage of combined certification mark IAF-MLA-SNAS based on the decision of the EA Multilateral Agreements Council (EA MAC).
Immediately after taking the above mentioned measure, the SNAS communicated with the EA MAC in writing to discuss the possibility of usage of the above mentioned mark on certificates issued by certification bodies accredited by SNAS before suspension of its status as a signatory to the EA MLA, i. e. before 5 November 2009. It was possible to successfully accomplish the communication by the discussion of the SNAS Director and the EA MAC Chairman during the EA General Assembly Meeting in Bruges held on 25 November 2009 with the following result:
Certification bodies certifying the Quality Management Systems according to ISO 9001, Environmental Management Systems according to ISO 14001 and products accredited by SNAS before 5 November 2009 may continue to use the combined certification mark IAF-MLA-SNAS on certificates issued by them.
We are very sorry for eventually arisen troubles and we are ready to provide you with further information and cooperation when solving them.
